You may need to reach out to your agency Evidence.com administrator to find out what “Vehicle ID” you should be using for your patrol car.
- To search for a Vehicle in Evidence.com, sign in > click Admin > click Vehicles and search as needed.
You can determine what Vehicle ID that should be used by matching up the Mount IDs in the actual patrol vehicle with those in Evidence.com.
Note: Typically users will not have permission to look up vehicle names in Evidence.com and will need to contact an Admin.
- Ensure that the user is entering in the vehicle name exactly as it appears in Evidence.com
Using the correct vehicle name is imperative to View XL operating as expected. If the vehicle is wrong it will have the wrong Network SSID, Password, Mount IDs (Axon Power Unit serial numbers), and Axon Vehicle Signal unit serial number.
