Evidence restriction can only be removed from evidence by removing the restriction from the evidence file on the Evidence Detail page. Using the restrict switch to remove restriction will override a restricted category, so you don't need to change categorization in order to remove the restriction from the evidence.
- On the Evidence Detail page, under Manage Evidence Access, click Inside My Agency.
The Manage Access page appears.
- Click the Restrict
The restriction on the evidence is removed and an email is sent to each user on the access list informing them that the restriction was removed from the evidence file.
- Click the (back) button to return to the Evidence Detail page.
