The Axon Flex 2 camera is able to receive event triggers via a Bluetooth signal from an SPPM battery installed in your TASER CEW and start recording.
If the SPPM is installed in your CEW but your camera does not record, ensure that you have the Axon Signal capability enabled in your Evidence.com account.
- To turn the Axon Signal feature on, login to your Evidence.com account, click on the Admin tab, then click on Body Camera Settings in the Devices section.
- Scroll down to the Axon Body 2 and Axon Flex 2 section and find the Axon Signal section. Check the Enable Axon Signal button.
- Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click Save Settings.
- You have now enabled Axon Body 2 and Axon Flex 2 cameras to receive event triggers from the ASU and start recording. The next time the Axon camera is connected to either an Axon Dock or Evidence Sync, it will update to this new setting.
- Note: During this connection also ensure that your Camera firmware is on the latest version. Your Axon Dock will update the firmware automatically and Evidence Sync will notify you if one is available.

Troubleshooting Continued:
If after enabling the Axon Signal setting your camera still does not record, you will need to check your Signal Configuration.
Note: The event trigger for a TASER CEW is set to ARMED.
If you DO have a configuration setup in your Evidence.com account, ensure that the trigger you are using to test your camera is enabled.
To check the Signal Configuration for your agency:
- Login to your Evidence.com account, click on the Admin tab, and then click on Signal Configuration in the Devices section.
- Scroll down to the CEW section. Verify that the event trigger you are using is enabled.
- If you have the event trigger set to ARMED, you do not need to also check Arc and Trigger since Arming the CEW is a prerequisite for those features.
- If you wish to change the configuration, click the blue pencil icon on the right and toggle the event triggers as needed. Click Save Settings at the bottom once completed.
You have now enabled your Axon Body 2 and Axon Flex 2 cameras to receive selected event triggers from your TASER CEW and start recording. The next time the Axon camera is connected to either an Axon Dock or Evidence Sync, it will update to this new setting.
