The Signal Sidearm sensor must be as close to the holster as possible to sense when your sidearm is removed from the holster.
When correctly installed, the Signal Sidearm sensor is flush with the holster, with a minimal gap between the holster and sensor. If there is a large gap between the sensor and the holster, the Signal will not be able to sense the movement of your sidearm.
If your sensor or bracket are not installed correctly, repeat the installation steps and ensure the sensor is as close to the holster as possible.
The images below show correct and incorrect Signal Sidearm sensor and bracket installations. They can be used as a guideline for checking the installation on your holster.
