Axon View is an application (or app) that allows you to play video files that are currently stored on an Axon camera, to apply metadata tags (such as case ID) to video files.
Additionally, if allowed by your agency, you can adjust the settings of your Axon camera.
Device Requirements
As of August 2020, Axon mobile applications will only support the following operation systems:
- iOS devices: iOS 11 and above. The latest version is iOS 14.
- Android devices: Android 7 and above. The latest version is Android 11.
Axon mobile applications that were installed on the devices with the older operating systems before August 2020 will continue to function, but those applications will not receive version updates.
Installing Axon View for iOS
Axon View for iOS is available as a download in the App Store.
- On the iOS mobile device, open the App Store app.
- Tap the search box, type Axon View, and tap Search.
- In the list of search results, tap Axon View.
- Tap Get and then tap Install.
- Tap Accept.

- Tap Open.
Axon View opens. A Notifications dialog box appears.
- Tap OK.

Installing Axon View for Android
Axon View for Android is available as a download in the Google Play Store.
- On the home screen of the Android device, tap the applications icon. This icon is typically located in the lower right corner of the home screen.
- Swipe right or left until you find the Play Store icon.
- Tap Play Store.
- Tap the search box, type Axon View and tap Enter.
- In the list of search results, tap Axon View.
- Tap Install.
- Tap Accept.
