Axon Citizen makes it easy for law enforcement agencies to securely receive evidence submissions from the community. Currently Axon Citizen supports one-on-one invitations to community members allowing them to submit files to your agency from their mobile phones.
Submissions from community members are automatically added as evidence to your agency's Evidence.com account. The owner of the evidence is the officer that sent the invitation.
Axon Citizen allows the officer sending the invitation to select if the community member's contact information is stored in Evidence.com. If the information is stored, the Evidence Title contains the name and phone number of the community member that uploaded the file. To prevent spam, each one-on-one invitation may only be used for one submission.
Future enhancements for Axon Citizen will expand the current capabilities to include community-wide requests and the ability to triage incoming submissions.
The following video provides an overview of how to set up and use Axon Citizen one-on-one. Note that the video includes information about the early access triage functionality.
