The Rooms tab is used to add and edit room information, devices, and notification settings.
This procedure assumes you are logged in to Axon Interview Configuration.
Adding a Room
- Click the Rooms
- Click Add New Room.
- In the Add New Room dialog box, configure the following Room settings:
- In the Name field, enter a descriptive room name. This is the name used for the room in the Axon Interview Client.
- Set Enabled to Yes.
- In the Device Settings section, click Add New Device.
- In the Add New Device dialog box, configure the Device settings as follows:
- In the Device Name field, enter a name for the device. This is usually something like Main Camera, Camera1, Camera2, etc.
- Set Enabled to Yes.
- If this device should appear as the primary image on the touch panel when an interview is started, then set Primary Device to Yes.
- Set Live Stream Source to Wowza.
- In the Rtsp Url field, enter the camera’s IP address using the format shown in the field.
- Enter the Admin and Stream Username and Admin and Stream Passwords.
- Click Save to close the dialog and return to the Add New Room page.
- If you need to add an additional device, click Add New Device and repeat the previous step.
- When you are done adding devices for the room, click Save.
- Repeat these steps to add another room.
Editing a Room
- Click the Rooms tab.
- Click on the room you want to edit and then click Edit Room.
- On the Edit Room page, adjust the Room settings as needed.
- To edit camera or microphone information, click on the device and click Edit Device.
- In the Edit Device dialog box, Adjust the device settings as needed.
- Click Save to close the dialog and return to the Edit Room page.
- If you need to add an additional device, click Add New Device and refer to step 4 in the Adding a Room procedure.
- When you are done editing the room, click Save.
