All Files ingested by the Commander have an SHA-2 hash associated with them. This serves multiple purposes, the most important of which is to let Axon Commander identify and validate the files when they are moved due to Association rules. The other purpose is to add a layer of security to prevent file tampering. For more information about Association rules, see Managing Associations.
