Configuring folders for automatic file uploads is performed on the Schedule Upload page. This process is used to automatically upload files to Evidence.com from a designated folder on your computer on an hourly schedule, as an alternative to manually uploading files yourself.
Some further information:
- Evidence Upload XT must be running for the automatic file uploads to occur.
- You can save any files you want to upload into an Automated Folder; the next time you sign in to Evidence Upload XT the application will check all the Automated Folders for content to upload and repeat every hour after that.
- The time that the last file upload completed will appear beneath the folder name on the Scheduled Upload page.
- To check on the progress of your uploads, click Upload Queue on the Add Files page.
Adding an Automated Folder
- Either create or select a folder anywhere on your computer to designate as an Automated Folder. This is where you’ll put the files you want to upload.
- On the Add Files page of Upload XT, click Settings on the menu bar and select Schedule Upload.
- On the Schedule Upload page:
- Click Add Automated Folder and navigate to the folder you designated in step 1.
- Select the folder and then click Select Folder in the bottom right corner of the window. You are returned to the Schedule Upload page.
The name and location of the folder you selected is shown on the Schedule Upload folder list. If you have previously configured other Automated Folders they will be listed there as well, and your new folder will appear at the bottom of the list. - If you want your automatically uploaded files to be removed from your computer after they’ve been successfully uploaded to Evidence.com, check the Delete local files once they have been uploaded check box.
- To add other folders as Automated Folders, repeat the steps above.
Removing an Automated Folder
