Axon Performance leverages the Axon Evidence.com Groups functionality for organizing squads and supervisors. Refer to the Axon Help Center Groups articles for detailed information on working with Groups.
Note: In Axon Performance the term Squad refers to a grouping of officers that report to the same field supervisor(s). This terminology may not be the same as the reporting structure for your organization. Units, shifts, or teams are typically synonymous with Squad.
Create a Group for each squad that will be monitored in Axon Performance using the following guidelines:
Note: If you are adding a large number of Groups, you can use the Import Groups feature to set up groups.
- The Group Name is used in Axon Performance as the squad name.
- The Manage Access Setting for the group should be selected in accordance with agency policies on evidence access. This setting does not affect Axon Performance.
- Officers in the squad are added as members of the group.
- Squad supervisors are added as Group Monitors
Once any Groups are created, check the Squad Settings to ensure the Groups are available and measured in Axon Performance.
Once the Groups are available, supervisors can go to Axon Performance and begin looking at the information for their squad.
