The Axon Performance Squad Dashboard provides insight at the squad-level, including visual indications of squad performance in relation to agency body worn camera policies. This allows supervisors to determine how compliant the squad is with agency policies and where there are opportunities for the team to improve.
Note: In Axon Performance the term Squad refers to a grouping of officers that report to the same field supervisor(s). This terminology may not be the same as the reporting structure for your organization. Units, shifts, or teams are typically synonymous with Squad.
The Axon Performance Squad Dashboard page shows the list of supervisors under the squad name. If the Video Review Goal is active (not set to 0), the current status of meeting the goal is shown above the squad metrics. Clicking a supervisor name displays the video reviews completed for the selected date range. Supervisors that were part of the squad during the selected date range but are no longer with the squad will be shown in gray text.
The lower portions of the page show Squad Metrics, Squad Performance, and Video Reviews. Each of the dashboard sections is described below.
Squad Metrics Section
This section shows the Metrics for all Officers in the Squad for the selected review period. Depending on what your agency selects, you may see up to three Metrics: Categorization Rate, Activation Rate, and ID Rate.
Metrics are calculated based on the activity that occurs within the date range selected and updated in near real-time.
Example: Last week 10 videos were uploaded and the officers categorized 3 of them. On Tuesday of the following week, the officers go back and categorize the remaining 7. If the supervisor selects a Date Range of Last Week on Monday, the Categorization Rate is shown as 30%. If the supervisor selects a Date Range of Last Week on Wednesday, the Categorization Rate now shows 100%.

On the Squad Metrics Details page, you can select the appropriate metric from the left-hand menu and view the information.
Note: The date and time information shown is adjusted to reflect your time zone, which is set in your Axon Evidence.com profile.
The upper part of the page shows a graph of the calculated Realtime activity for the selected date range and when the information was last updated in Axon Performance. Note that the Realtime calculation for a metric is updated based on officer actions, so the information shown can change. The lower part of the page shows all items included in the selected date range.
Selecting Show Historical view adds the historical line and calculation to the details view.
The Historical View is calculated using the time limit for required actions to occur. For example, according to policy evidence must be categorized within 2 days after upload. The time limit for each metric is agency configurable. Once a time limit is set for a metric, the calculated historical view is locked and will not change over time, unlike the Realtime view.In some situations, you may see a blue icon () above the graph. This indicates that there was a change in how the metric is calculated. You can see what changed by placing your mouse cursor over the icon. For example, in the image below the time for completed the action was changed to be within 3 days of upload.

Squad Performance and Reviews Sections
These sections show the Squad Performance table for the selected Date Range and, if enabled by your agency, the Random Video Review table. The Squad Performance table lists all officers in the Squad, with officers that are below policy shown at the top of the list. The Random Video Review table lists videos recorded by officers on the Squad that have been randomly selected and reviewed by a supervisor. These two sections adjust to reflect performance and reviews during the Date Range selected.
